Manchester United target Bernardo Silva drops transfer hint

have been tracking the £70million-rated midfielder along with Chelsea following his superb displays this term.

Jose Mourinho has earmarked signing a midfielder, who can bring a much-needed creativity and fluidity to his side in order to transform them into champions next term.

Reports have suggested United will put all their efforts into signing the 22-year-old should they fail to land Antoine Griezmann and James Rodriguez.

And the Portugal international has openly admitted he harbours a strong desire to play for a ‘big club’.

“I am finishing my third season in Monaco, who gave me the opportunity to play at a higher level,” he told Portuguese TV station SIC.

“But of course, every player dreams of playing for the best teams and in the best divisions one day. I’m no exception.”

Silva’s form in Europe didn’t go unnoticed, as he helped Monaco reach the semi-finals of the Champions League this term.

And with three years left to run on his current deal, United will have to stump up a big sum to land their man.
