Pippa Middleton wedding dress: Which designer could Pippa wear on her wedding day?

’s younger sister will marry in a traditional church ceremony at pretty St Mark’s in Englefield, followed by dinner and dancing in a giant glass marquee at her parents’ mansion in Bucklebury, Berkshire.

will serve as page boy, with as a bridesmaid – however Kate will not appear in the bridal party.

and will also attend, with the latter repoertedly set to be joined by his girlfriend Meghan Markle for the evening reception.

One detail that remains a mystery is that of Pippa’s wedding dress.

Yesterday a group of women were seen carrying white garment bags into Pippa’s home in Chelsea that were the perfect size to hold a  sleek and simple wedding dress and matching bridesmaids’ outfits.

Here, Express.co.uk takes a look at some of the designers that could be in the running to design Pippa’s dress.

Giles Deacon

Giles Deacon was pictured visiting Pippa at her home in November armed with a large black garment bag.

He spent around two hours with the bride-to-be and her mother Carole – who later left the house beaming.

Fashion critics called Giles and inspired choice for Pippa, but the designer shot down reports that he would create one of his signature gowns for the bride.

“I can never really comment on rumours. Until things are confirmed, it’s rumours,” he said.

Giles is known for his dark, romantic but playful creations, and has previously designed wedding dresses for the likes of Abbey Clancey.

The designer, from Darlington, comes with the royal seal of approval – having previously dressed Princess Beatrice.

Alexander McQueen

Alexander McQueen has become one of the Duchess of Cambridge’s favourite brands since she wore a Sarah Burton design for her own wedding, and could prove a savvy choice for Pippa on her big day.

Pippa, who acted as Kate’s maid-of-honour, also wore a McQueen gown for the royal wedding.

He scene-stealing ivory satin number accentuated her toned curves, with a shot of her bending down to pick up Kate’s train becoming one of the most-shared images of the ceremony.

The design was typical of Sarah Burton’s take on McQueen, which has brought a lighter touch to the brand’s gothic glamour.

Reportedly, Kate will not appear as Pippa’s matron-of-honour so that her presence doesn’t upstage the bride.

By this logic, Pippa might also avoid choosing the same designer as her sister to avoid comparisons between the two.

Suzanne Neville

Suzanne Neville is the go-to bridal brand for many socialites, and has created bespoke gowns for celebrities such as Christine Bleakley, Katherine Jenkins and Victoria Pendleton.

The British designer is known for her flattering, meticulously cut dresses which often come with intricate lace detailing.

Her wedding dresses start at around £2,500 and can exceed £10,000 – but with Pippa’s total budget a reported £250,000, price is likely to be not much of an issue.

Jenny Packham

Both Pippa and Kate are devoted fans of Jenny Packham, with the Duchess in particular often photographed in her feminine but modern dresses.

Pippa wore an embellished halter neck dress from the designer to the Boodles Boxing Ball in 2015, with its deep cobalt hue perfectly complementing her complexion.

If the bride does choose Jenny Packham, she will be following in the footsteps of Kim Sears, who wore an empire-waisted gown for her wedding to Andy Murray.
